With heartbeats as whispers. By James Goodwin

A smile breaks like daylight upon cherished face. My heart's
response is rapid, my breath struggles to keep pace.
Messengers of blue starlight meet deep pools of hazel-green, your
eyes meeting mine, and for the first time I truly feel seen.
A multitude of little-beauties have within you gathered and
conspire. crafting that for which beauty herself, in vain, aspires.
I feel you cannot see this beauty within you. you would doubt
my speaking of it.
So I fall silent before ever I begun and I speak to you in
a silent tongue,
with heartbeats as whispers....
THUMP!....
Lovely,
THUMP!THUMP!....
Beautiful,
THUMP!THUMP!THUMP!....
Perfect.
