Orlando Massacre: My Thoughts And Prayers.
I have been able to think of little else. I have poetry and prayers running through my mind almost hourly. The truth is I am angry and greatly saddened. I wish there was something I could do or look forward to justice being served. Whatever that means. I know exactly what I think and I have fears about our future.
I also have fears for our fellow family members that are Muslim and I fear that they will be isolated. In fact, I am tearing up at the idea. It would not be fair to create another needless adversary. There is an LGBTQ Muslim community and they need to be embraced.
There may have been 102 direct victims, but there are millions of us who feel like we have just lost family too. Those were my brothers and sisters, our brothers and sisters. 

I hold my own candlelight vigil in prison and I will be mourning our loss.
I also wanted to say that I will be praying.
