Hanging out with the guys tonight doing a little quilting, but mostly talking about our past and current relationships, life experiences, and some of the daily bullshit that goes on around our prison environment and how it effects us. We have officially named Saturday night, Men's Night.
My family loves the idea that I have the privilege to be involved in something so healthy and creative. Lately I've been telling my story since I'm the new guy. Lots of deep belly laughter, many wonderful and in depth questions have been asked. Expressing my inner thoughts to a captive audience tonight has helped me overcome some feelings of venerability and fear about writing.
