I was talking to a close friend of mine today about my upcomming release in 8 months and I will admit, I am petrified. I have no clue about what the world is like anymore. It has been 10 years since I have seen freedom and I know how life changes so much and so fast. I am sure I will be able to aclimate just fine, but the fear still remains. I am harnessing that fear to motivate my success. This fear is what has gotten me 30+ certificates in here. I have used this fear to make sure I have carved a path for my future upon release. I have learned 5 vocational pathways since being incarcerated, so I will have SOME avenue to pursue once I am out there. I MUST SUCCEED. FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION!
