LGBTQ Definitions: What I Know

The full list of symbols is L,G,B,T,Q,GQ,P,A,I,Q
L= Lesbian; A woman who is only attracted to other women
G=Gay; Attracted to same sex, typically attributed to men
B=Bisexual; a person (male or female) who is attracted to both sexes as potential partners
T=Transgender; A person who's body does not match their interior sex. I.E.; a man in a woman's body or a woman in a mans body
Q=Queer; Anyone who identifies as different sexually
GQ=Gender Queer; Someone who is gender queer does not believe in traditional male/female expression. A man can express himself in any way he chooses and is still a man. Likewise with women. The societal standard for gender roles is unacceptable to those who identify genderqueer
P=Pansexual; a person who is attracted to all persons, regardless of biological markers
A=Asexual;Someone who is not sexually attracted to anyone
I=Intersex; Someone who has, physically, both sex characteristics. Traditionally this was referred to as 'hermaphrodite'
Q=Questioning; Anyone who knows they are different but is unsure of who they are yet.

This is the list that I know! I am personally gay and identify as Gender Queer, proudly. I should be able to go to work in a dress and rocking a fierce look and still be a man. That doesn't make me anything more then a man who looks great in a dress. Side note, I don't want to wear a dress to work, however, I believe that those that do should be able to. I don't agree with traditional male/female roles.

With Love
